Terms & Conditions
Effective 1 August 2026
These terms govern your use of BAM, the business and account management software provided by Celtic Knots ("Celtic Knots", "we", "us"). BAM is available at app.bamerp.com and as native applications. By creating an account or using BAM, you agree to these terms. If you are agreeing on behalf of a business, you confirm you are authorised to bind that business.
1. The service
BAM lets you record sales, purchases, inventory, manufacturing, expenses, parties and accounting entries, and produce reports from them. Features available to you depend on your subscription plan, as described on our pricing page.
BAM stores a copy of your data on your device so you can keep working without a connection, and synchronises it with our servers when you reconnect.
2. Your account
- You must give accurate registration information and keep it current.
- You are responsible for the security of your credentials and for all activity under your account.
- You are responsible for the accounts of any additional users you add, and for what those users do.
- You must tell us promptly at support@bamerp.com if you believe your account has been compromised.
3. Your data
The business records you enter into BAM remain yours. You grant us only the permissions needed to host, process, back up and display that data so we can provide the service to you. We do not sell your data and we do not use your business records to advertise to you.
You are responsible for the accuracy and lawfulness of what you record, and for meeting your own accounting, tax and record-keeping obligations. BAM is a tool for keeping records; it is not accounting, tax or legal advice.
4. Subscriptions and billing
BAM offers a Free plan and paid plans. Paid plans are billed in advance on a monthly or annual cycle and renew automatically until cancelled. Prices are shown in US dollars and exclude sales tax or VAT, which is calculated at checkout.
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle handles payment processing, billing enquiries, tax collection and remittance, and refunds. Paddle's own buyer terms apply to the payment transaction itself.
- Upgrades take effect immediately and are charged on a prorated basis.
- Downgrades take effect at the end of your current billing period, so you keep what you paid for until then.
- Cancellation can be immediate or scheduled for the end of the current period; you choose when you cancel.
- Failed payments may result in your account reverting to the Free plan until payment is resolved.
Refunds are covered by our Refund Policy.
5. What happens when you cancel or downgrade
When a paid subscription ends, your account returns to the Free plan. Your records are not deleted. However, Free plan limits apply again — so where you exceed a limit, some data becomes read-only rather than editable until you are back within the limit or subscribe again. You can export or review your records at any time while your account is open.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use BAM for anything unlawful, or to record transactions that further unlawful activity;
- attempt to breach, probe or circumvent our security, rate limits or subscription entitlements;
- reverse engineer, resell, sublicense or white-label the service without our written permission;
- upload malware, or interfere with the operation of the service for others;
- use automated means to extract data at a scale that degrades the service.
We may suspend an account that we reasonably believe is breaching this section, and will tell you why where we lawfully can.
7. Availability
We work to keep BAM available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may carry out maintenance, change or withdraw features, and rely on third-party infrastructure providers. Because BAM keeps a local copy of your data, you can usually keep working during a service interruption.
8. Intellectual property
BAM, its software, design and branding are owned by Celtic Knots. These terms grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use BAM while your account is in good standing. Nothing here transfers ownership of the software to you.
9. Warranties and liability
BAM is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent permitted by law we exclude implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Celtic Knots is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, or for loss of profits, revenue, goodwill or data. Our total liability arising out of or relating to BAM in any twelve-month period is limited to the amount you paid us for the service in that period.
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including liability for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.
10. Termination
You may stop using BAM and close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate an account for a material breach of these terms, for non-payment, or where required by law. On termination your right to use BAM ends.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the product and our legal obligations change. Where a change materially affects your rights, we will give reasonable notice before it takes effect. Continuing to use BAM after a change takes effect means you accept the updated terms.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, and the courts of Pakistan have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of them. This does not remove any mandatory consumer protection you have under the law of your own country of residence.
